    Hi

The Outline View of the forum should be a user setting that's not set as default. The full Gens Package on the homepage of nhl94online.com should be fixed now (not sure how that happened). -Evan
  2. Tick, I'm guessing you played some practice games to get warmed up and didn't like what you experienced with other players? -Evan
  3. Yes, The only problem with hamachi networks when using the free license is they max out real quick. I started a list of servers here, but I'm sure by now these are filled up: http://www.nhl94online.com/html/getting-started.php#hamachi You can always create your own network, and have someone join it. We typically chat with other players through AIM to get a game scheduled. -Evan
  4. Was tough with the Holidays, so why don't we say Sunday, January 10th for Round 2. That gives everyone a little over a week to play the games. -Evan
  5. Hey everyone, Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and hope that 2010 brings good fortune to all. I would like to say thanks to all the people in the community who have dedicated their time to organizing leagues, playing in leagues, working on modifications for the game, and making this place what it is today. I don't think there's any place quite like this one. Enough sentiment, let's play those Classic league playoff games already! -Evan

    Hi

Hey Tickenest, glad to see you active again. Yes, Classic league on nhl94online.com is functional again with the regular season going very smooth. Hope you stick around, we love your presence here. No big developments, but I'm not sure when you went inactive. Smozoma has done some really cool stuff figuring out the weight bug, checking, and assists fixes for the game. Check the editing section for info regarding this and other projects guys are working on. -Evan
  7. Great, thanks John! EDIT: The deadline for Round 2 playoffs is Sunday, January 10th.
  8. Well hopefully you guys can get this game in today, you're the last series to play Round 1. Bo hope the game is a good one.
  9. Very nice summary AJ, Todd at LW is the way to go! Your forward combos are definitely the options to try. The only addition to make is using Glynn on defense instead of Kravchuk. Glynn has a good slapshot, and he doesn't feel much slower then Kravchuk. I'd also say Simpson doesn't feel that slow either and is usually solid overall. Edmonton is affected by the weight bug (Todd, Elik, Simpson), so we'll wait to hear about Smoz's feedback on them. -Evan
  10. Happy Holidays everyone! Anyone get any nhl94-related gifts? I got a Hartford Whalers t-shirt. -Evan
  11. Hey Chozo, Did you mention this was 10-minute periods? Here's my player stats who were 16-0 in the Hartford playoffs: Hartford Playoff Stats -Evan
  12. Great writeup as always AJ. You know this is one of my favorite teams (though mainly for the retro look more than players). They certainly don't have much depth, and you guys have mentioned just about everything important (Borsato is an excellent choice). But, you did leave out 1 major component to this team: Olausson. Olausson on D is an excellent replacement for Housley for those who feel he's too fast and offensive minded. I would suggest Olausson-Numminen for a good starting defensive pair. Also guys like Tkachuk/Eagles can be good to throw in when your team isn't working just to change the momentum. I would typically start Borsato-Zhamnov-Davydov on forward since Selanne is usually out of sync with the guys on this team. Keep up the excellent writeups! I love these things. -Evan
  13. When you reboot, does the computer still recognize the USB gamepad? If not, what OS are you running? -Evan

Thanks for signing up and sharing with us. Hope you enjoy the community here! -Evan
  15. Chaos, thanks for getting this setup quickly! Good luck in the playoffs everyone. -Evan

    Go Evan!

Well I really showed you guys a thing or 2.. HAH. Was a fun night though. -Evan

    Go Evan!

Change of events.. Chozopuffs is back on Snes Calgary and I'm on Gens-C Philly. Now its Chaos vs. Evan, hehe. It would have been funny playing Snes since I only played a few times ever.
  18. (from my other post) Hey Bob, Chozo is my coworker and he can't play games this evening. If needed I could jump in play the games tonight unless you can play earlier. My AIM is goldparalax. -Evan

  20. That is Chaos. We're going to replace the old Calgary coach with Chozopuffs (Eric) and Chaos will update the scores as well.
  21. We have a new replacement for SNES Calgary. He's playing his 4 games with Schwartz (Vancouver) now and is hoping BobKudelski26 is online this afternoon. Bob, if you read this contact "acronis" on AIM for games. We haven't gotten him into the database yet but his contact info is on the SNES waiting list. -Evan
  22. Hey guys, Tomorrow is the deadline, so please make an effort to finish those last few games up. Lots of you guys have already completed your games which is awesome. Remember, all league games have meaning even if you're not playoff bound. All coaches made a commitment to play, and lack of playing goes on your "track record". Good luck guys! -Evan
  23. I've been waiting for something like this too. Game loads fine, but the "start button" doesn't work for me. I can change teams, etc and I even tried changing the hot key for start but doesn't go. Anyone else have a problem with the "start" button? -Evan
