Just because it involves me, I'll update the battle for that final playoff spot. Egorde went on an incredible run to finish the season, managing a split with DET (kupuck) and a 2 of 3 series win against TOR (smoz). However, due to a head-to-head series loss against danlizhot, his run for the final playoff spot has fallen short. The final spot now comes down to the 3 game series between Edmonton (me) and Quebec (Logan). If I've studied the tiebreakers correctly, 2 wins out of 3 will send EDM to the playoffs, anything less will send Winnipeg to the postseason.

I'd like to join the waiting list too. aim is probob38.

Yes, I remember the game 7 OT. Coming close to beating a Cup champ doesn't make you a Cup contender. That's like Nashville fans saying they were a cup contender going into last season because they ALMOST beat Chicago. I don't think the Habs make the playoffs this year.

Sorry if this offends any Montreal fans but... Melrose picks Montreal to win the Northeast?! LOL. I think a legitimate case could be made that the Leafs will be better than them this year, let alone Boston and Buffalo... And I fail to see how Chicago is all of a sudden a cup contender again, they added toughness. That's it. Melrose is a clown.

It worked great, that's true... But, unfprtunately I have to be the wet blanket. It screwed something up on Windows 7. Windows 7 is also not listed as one of the applicable programs, so it appears there was actually a reason for that.

Just some thoughts on the poll: Rammer is on pace to rewrite the classic record book, which is awesome. RC69 too, but he's a SNES player so he's automatically disqualified Obviously, the guys who are losing and sticking it out are the best, especially patstew, who got stuck with a crappy team because somebody else couldn't handle them. But Gens B playing a 3rd of a season is the most impressive. because we're the reliable league that is going to have a legitimate playoff tournament because everyone will play their games and the standings will actually be the true standings and everyone will be on the same playing field. and everyone will have played at least 38 games of their 40 on their own, not with somebody else. Also, I'm in Gens B, that helps too.

I second this, as someone who has just matched their win total from all of last seaon with 23 games remaining.
