  1. Additionally, F6 cycles backwards and F7 will cycle forward through 10 states, allowing for multiple saves.
  2. I was referring to his play at Joe Louis Arena. He's been brilliant at home - but Scuds and Orpik hung him out to dry in game 5. Ha. Obviously I follow the Flyers but I'm not a "hater" and was a big fan of the Penguins when Mario, Mullen, Francis, Tocchet, and Trottier were there . Anyone who visits nhl91.com would clearly see the color scheme is aligned with the Penguins and their '91 championship... And the project I'm working on right now at the site (sub domain) is something Pittsburgh fans will love. Hint: it involves Game 6 of the '91 finals. Anyway I said, "begrudgingly Wings 5-2 Cleary pots the GWG".. So yeah, I hope the Penguins win.
  3. Penguins have been lackluster at the Joe and Fleury looks out of his element evidenced by some of the butter cream soft goals there. Don't forget the only home loss at the Wings homestead this postseason was the game two 3OT loss against Anaheim more than 5 weeks ago... But one could say they are over due. Only 3 visiting teams have ever won a game 7 of the cup finals - Rangers '28 (5gm series) Toronto '45, Montreal '71.. It's been almost 40 years. Would take a herculean effort for the Penguins to win at the Joe as they haven't (come close) thus far and Crosby has 0 points away from home in the finals.. Plus the Penguins have been out scored 11-2 at Detroit in 3 games of the finals! For that reason I begrudgingly say Wings 5-2, Cleary pots the GWG.
  4. It's well established that Gartner must be neutered before he can reproduce, but I've been doing inventory and have assembled a laundry list of players that will receive upgrades | downgrades. These primarily hinge on discussions at the Hockey Summary Project, some of you, and some new-old DVD's of broadcasts I've been watching lately.. The rating increments are starting to chafe, mainly the 81-98 tag. BOS - Dave Poulin BOS - Craig Janney CHI - Dirk Graham CHI - Jocelyn Lemieux CHI - Stu Grimson DET - Gerard Gallant EDM - Anatoli Semenov EDM - Martin Gelinas EDM - Ken Linesman EDM - Kelly Buchberger EDM - Charlie Huddy EDM - Glenn Anderson HFD - Kevin Dineen HFD - Todd Krygier LAK - John Tonelli LAK - Dave Taylor MIN - Dave Gagner MIN - Gaetan Dushesne NIN - Neal Broten MIN - Bobby Smith MIN - Brian Propp MIN - Perry Berezan MTL - Russ Courtnall MTL - Shayne Corson MTL - Eric Desjardins MTL - Stephane Richer NJ - Bruce Driver NYI - Billy Volek NYI - Brent Sutter NYR - Ray Sheppard NYR - Mike Gartner NYR - Bernie Nicholls PHI - Rick Tocchet PHI - Pelle Eklund PHI - Kjell Samuelsson PHI - Derrick Smith PIT - Peter Taglianetti TOR - Peter Zezel TOR - Rob Ramage VAN - Greg Adams WSH - Kelly Miller WPG - Dave McLlwain WPG - Bob Essensa WPG - Thomas Steen WPG - Bryan Marchmant About 1/2 are upgrades. Some of the changes will definitely tilt some things ie: bolster some of the leaner teams.. But if everything goes well in the by the end of the season there could be a draft, so that would be moot.
  5. Yes. The playoff | scoreboard banners use the same palette as the rink as do multitude of other tiles. Wouldn't advise modifying individual colors from the rink palette.. Unless the color you are changing is in the same family. Sample the BGR values from the palette and create your banners in a graphics editing program with the colors available in that palette (there is a wide enough scope and the primary color wheel is available) - ensuring that the hues are identical. Otherwise Tile Molester would be forced to render them for you, which is like hunting with a blind man. If the banners have already been created an existing edit you can shop lift them, then transplant them into your project.. Might be unsavory, but I could show you how. offset: 1927500 size: 64 format: 9bpp bgr byte order: Motorola
  6. Keeep yoooour eyyeeeeee, onnnn theee fruuuuuit.
  7. Wonderful... Things are even Stephen and I'm too sick to play... Summit daggummit.
  8. The first check point is cleared and I'm relieved to say everyone met the 10 game bench mark. The second and final checkpoint is June 30th, 2009. Coaches must have all 20 games completed by this date. If things are squared away early we can begin the post-season early. Great job so far, everyone.
  9. Fighting through what ever strain of Mongolian death flu I've contracted USA managed to win through snot bubbles and a Cheech and Chong sized whooping cough.. Voc said he would post but I wanted to make sure my last moment on earth involves 2on2 in case I don't recover. USA (jesusplaysnhl94/vocallycaged) 4 @ 2 (smozoma/sebe) CAN gg
  10. I think the Bulls and Lakers each have 5 or 6 rings a piece in the last quarter century.. For hockey the Oilers had 5 cups from '84 to '90.. That is unless you mean totals for wins and losses, but wasn't Detroit abysmal in the 80's? With the ol' moniker "Detroit Dead Things"?
  11. Pens should be salivating with the press release confirming that they won't have to contend with Datsyuk and Draper in game 1 tonight... That wheel must be busted pretty good for Datsyuk to miss the opening game of the finals. Should be interesting to see how this tilts things.
  12. I think they wilted once they faced adversity... They steam rolled and rail roaded the East in the regular season, once they lost a game in the playoffs the veneer spider webbed and they became mortal. Parallels can be drawn here for San Jose too. Fedorov and Kozlov defected back to mother Russia.. Feds might not be the dynamo he once was but those are some big skates to fill.. And the low down on green is he turns green once he's tenderized on the forecheck You can probably set your watch to it; Beelzebubs reign will likely end once Brodeur hangs 'em up. Ducks nucleus could be dismantled - Giggy might be expendable with Hiller's play and there's probably a slew of teams that would love his services.. Will be a pretty penny though. Lot of speculation surrounding Pronger. His experience and size make him a valuable commodity wouldn't be surprised to see him moved.. Who knows if Selanne and S. Neidermayer will decide to return. Not sure really.. Keenan is stuck in a time warp and looks like his style hasn't acclimated to the modern game.. I know he can be grating to a lot of players who aren't "his type of player" and mutiny might of started wafting in when his new coach smell wore off. That and he changes goalies like underpants. Looking forward to free agency though. Should be interesting to see who wins the Mr. Bouwmeester sweepstakes.
  13. If a match was played, it is void without a final score. Quite clearly. At the duration of the game I inquired "what was the final score who posts?", to which donnybrook replied "8-5 US". And my retort "I have to find a bar napkin to write it down for later". Boston (US) and Toronto (Canada) were used and you professed "Leafs blow", and I exclaimed "Art imitates life, the Leafs always blow but I like 'em. Everyone loves a whipping boy". Can't get more Summity than that.

    NOSE question

Visual Basic is a object oriented programming (OOP) language known for it's simplicity and easily traverseable interfaces - NOSE is written in Visual Basic; (VB) hence the VB pack is required to run NOSE. Active X is primarily an appendage for other languages used to perform functions not sure exactly how it's tied into NOSE.. Anyway they are relatively harmless .
  15. Polk High would be proud.. Al: "Sure selling shoes is fun. But behind the glamour, it's like any other minimum wage slow death." Peg: "We want a phone, Al." Al: "I want a life. Good luck to us all."
  16. Don't mess with the YoHan - Hanz Franzen will pump the Pens up for a few goals matched against Malkin.. Lidstrom would play in a body cast, he'd have to be flat lined to miss the finals. Crosby's production probably hinges on how healthy Datsyuk is, and if he suit's up. But it always boils down to goal tending, and teams have a better chance stealing Osgood's babies then getting one by him in the playoffs.. Fleury will have to play out of his damn mind in the series. And will Hossa be a shrinking violet?.. He has something like 40 points in some 30 odd games (bulk of them assists) vs the Penguins lifetime. Magic 8 ball says.. Pens in 6. btw: hope that sounds like I know whats going to happen cause I have no fricken idea Mr. Biggelzwsworth
  17. I'd probably be cocky too if Chicago made jesusplaysnhl94 wallpaper in 1992..

  19. You will need to create a new directory for NOSE. If there are any other speed bumps in launching NOSE you might need to update Visual Basic and ActiveX (should be available on his site). The 'R' in the tool bar will display the rink palette.. Traditional RGB values are inverted with Genesis's VDP. So the hex and decimal ice swatches | hues begin at: B: E(248) G: E(252) R: 0(0) From there increase red's value for brighter ice hues. Personally B: E(248) G: E(252) R: C(144) is the closest one can get to white without encountering contrast conflicts with uniforms.

  21. Initially I was adverse to replacing anyone, mainly because I wanted to go on auto pilot through the regular season and focus on other aspects of the site.. But the league has spoken, and so, there won't be a cardboard cutout at the helm for Pittsburgh. Of the registrants the top 5 in line are: Down Goes Brown Tue, 31 Mar 2009 23:19:21 Madskillz Thu, 2 Apr 2009 23:53:55 sebe Sat, 4 Apr 2009 16:33:37 angryjay93 (retired) Mon, 13 Apr 2009 21:49:58 Carse Sat, 9 May 2009 15:17:53 Being the impartial pillar of justice as commissioner it's only fair that the earliest registrant to sign up is plugged in... Down Goes Brown, you are head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Effective immediately.
  22. Here's the Canadian Press release from RR's paste (now ubiquitous). Z was lunch pail dirty finger nails type of player. An underrated adept passer that, while not the most fleet of foot his low center of gravity made him very stout and difficult to knock off the disk. Have to echo Ice's sentiments he was a ever present thorn in the oppositions side.. A lot like Dave Poulin with better hands. R.I.P.
  23. If I don't participate in the summer league how does it effect my draft positioning | league status? I don't want to lose my seat for the fall... While I didn't have a chance to draft my 1st team are we allowed to select NHL teams that have migrated or are defunct? And for the amalgam of the A and B leagues I could do a custom rom with splash screens | logos and all that jazz if there's more than 24 clubs; if you want. Sorry for all the questions
  24. I'd consider myself more of a war head than a secret weapon as the only pair with Voc to win both 2on2 tournaments (though EA and Habs were unstoppable in season 3). Donnybrook has already solidified himself as SI cover material with his passing and ability to do 1 timers. Our secret weapon is probably Carse.. Though he doesn't play much his win % is high. And while I might be the elder statesman of 2on2 - I'm 26 - Ice's biological clock is closest to assisted living for USA... Sorry Ice When I asked if you wanted to do the summit slide and I sent you the Summit Series 2 rom you paired up with Zalex on Team Canada; plus you being a Calgary | MacInnis fan my Jesus sense tingled you were Canadian.. Any way I took those scores down.
