  1. Hey - so I've decided to finally host the 94 rager in my backyard on Sat, Sept. 15th. I live right near the Meadowlands area in NJ, in the small town of Wood-Ridge. I'm thinking of setting up 2 segas in the yard, hooked up to some old TVs that I've somehow been accumulating. I have speakers setup outside, so everyone can bring their iPods/MP3 players and the home team on whatever the main Sega is gets their pick of the music. Lull you opponents to sleep with some Steve Winwood maybe? Or intimidate them with Rammstein? Some of my friends will be show up that we will all destroy, so I'm thinking we probably have a few tournaments going on at the same time based on skill level. If it rains, we can bring everything inside, but the wife will be pissed. Not sure what time to start, but early is probably good - maybe noon? We can figure out food and drink later - I can just order something. Let me know if you can make it and I can provide specific details via AIM / PM. Note: I'm not sure she'll be down with me letting a bunch of people I met online sleep over, so I can't guarantee crashing space.
  2. I recently bought this on eBay and it worked fine with my model 2 Sega.
  3. Manhattan Business Jerks Dark Grey pants, Light Blue jerseys and helmets (preferably with bluetooth in case any calls come in). Black trim.
  4. Hey guys - I'll be around over the weekend to get some games in. I'm way out of practice, so 'your welcome' to whoever plays me first.
  5. In North Jersey, by the Meadowlands.
  6. I threw the TV in the shed for future use - I'll probably have a '94 rager this summer. Will keep you posted wookie!
  7. Sean Burke in fine position for the save.
  8. I bought my 6 button controllers off ebay with no problem - I bought 2 in one transaction - doubling my chances of getting a good one. Been using them for over a year, no probs. The adapators were way more expensive, but those things are solid.
  9. The adaptor with the original SEGA 6 button is the way to go. I'm amazed people play this game on keyboard.
  10. Chico is wildly entertaining...he definitely got hit in the head with too many pucks. He reminds me of 'Greg Stink' from SNL.
  11. Hey welcome aboard! I'm sure the more technical guys here can give you a better answer, but I've definitely seen that before, I think it has to do with the configuration file getting messed up somehow. I think I just downloaded it again and I didn't have that problem the next time.
  12. I wonder who DeBoer starts tonight?
  13. Wildly entertaining...well done!
  14. Eggink v Gretz WPG 5-1 WPG 5-4 (OT) WASH 5-3 (Sandstrom all 5 goals!) WPG 4-2 ggs
  15. I joined and played hokkee - but Group 1 might be filled...do with these what you will...and add me to any group... 4-3 WPG 3-1 WPG 5-2 WPG 3-1 VAN
  16. When I think of hockey, I think of Nashville! The Coyotes will never 'catch' these Predators. Nashville also in 6.
  17. LA the hot team - they take it in 6.
  18. NJ pulls the upset in 7 on a Clarkson rebound goal in OT. The Devils then make a rent payment to the city of Newark
  19. Nice! On a side note, I used to love playing Age of Empires II - might have to go find that CD.
  20. I plan on keeping my lineup fluid. I played a few exis with Modano in the middle and he kept getting flattened. I likely will switch it up based on matchup and maybe during the game if I'm not flowing...the good news is I have options on offense. The D will be an adventure. They do tend to stay back, but at times the lack of speed and even moreso agility is a pretty big liability. It's key that I get back in transition with the speedsters to limit breaks.
