Guest Wags13
OOOOO here come the trade police! here come the trade police! Mind your own business- Tinordi for Gilmour doesn't rock the Blitz competitive landscape.
shaftman
nah nah nah. Especially since this is the guys first draft? you cant take advantage like that. same thing happened to me. And there was interjection.
Guest Wags13
How is this guy's first draft have anything to do with the trade? I'll say it again, Tinordi for Gilmour will not change the competitive landscape of the Blitz League.
angryjay93
i dont see an issue on either side here for the gilmour-tinordi trade. youre trading a mid-range to upper tiered forward for a mid-range to upper tiered defenseman. Gilmour has no outstanding skills in the blitz rom, hes merely a competent-above average support player due to his ability to shoot, pass, and handle the puck. But his inability to hang with the big boys in the trenches is his major downfall and he doesnt have amazing skating to make up for it like other similiar skilled lightweights. Tinordi on the other hand does have some outstanding skills for a d-man such as his shot 4/3 and his 4 check to go along with 9 weight. The only beef you could have with Tinordi is average d-man skating 3/3 and lack luster 2 passing. Not seeing much of an issue here...trading a skilled yet lightweight forward for a skilled, heavy weight d-man with average speed, its the quintessential blitz league trade. TubaHero
Jay just chalked it up right there. I had no D, and Gilmour was getting wrecked in Blitz exhibs. I posted in the trade talk, and Wags was the only one to respond. The only problem I see is my noobish prematurity in pulling the trigger. I see no reason to veto it, Smoz, unless my naivety is f-ing me over again, which I wouldn't doubt. Oates for a third rounder, on the other hand...
