da94wookiee Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Earlier today I figured out why NHL '94 is better on GENS than SNES: BLAST PROCESSING!!! Quote
trudatman Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 it is kind an actual thing. the claim is based on a real processing "trick." forget that the SNES wins the specs battle by like three to one and in all of the important categories (to me). blast processing! Quote
Bo Knows NHL94 Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 that bok at 0:29? Haha this came out in 1993 so I would have been 7 years old... I wish I was that cool at 7. Quote
smozoma Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 Yeah SNES had better specs in pretty much everything, but Sega picked the ONE thing they had an advantage on and made it sound like it was awesome. Like saying the Lightning are the superior team because they have the best goal-scorer in the league (2012). Or the points leader (2013). Quote
aqualizard Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Specs mean nothing. The game was just smoother on the GENS. Quote
deadmeow Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 All sports games are better on Sega Genesis, except for NBA Live, which is really good on SNES. Quote
TruePensFan1981 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 In general, I felt the sports games were better on the Genesis than on the Super Nintendo. I felt NHL 95 was better on the SNES, however; it's a shame they had the goalie gloves on the wrong hands in the SNES version of 95. Quote
