  1. Anything will work. I'm playing on a Windows 7 laptop (on an external monitor) these days, but have to say I preferred a desktop setup as I didn't have cords running all over the place. Couple things to think about. 1. Keep it cool. New cheap laptops are known for 2 issues. (1. short-life batteries, 2. running hot). 2. Ports. Depending on where you plan to setup, make sure the USB and external video (VGA/SVideo/HDMI) are in good position. Jer

  3. My PC crapped out literally while we were hosting the first game. I've resuscitated my old laptop, so hopefully I can meet the deadlines until I get a PC up and running. Again, sorry guys. I'll be on in the evenings after 9-10PM (EST). Jer
  4. Really sorry guys.. my PC crapped out on me on the weekend and I've had to resuscitate my laptop - not sure how it will be to play on. I'll try to get those games played this week. Jer
  5. I haven't made good on it, but the idea of a "one-timer" league that only counts one-timer goals would eliminate a lot of the so-called glitch goals.
  6. Maybe a "training camp" for classic, an opportunity for the new guys to test-drive different teams?
  7. If you are running the league, I'd be willing to help out in any way. Probably more on the rosters side of things. Jer

  15. If you enjoy drafting and setting your line-ups, this is a really interesting league. Played my first season in KOHL4 and had a great time with the guys. Basically bid on your players, assemble a roster (within a budget) and coach your lines through the regular season. Games are all simmed/broadcast live on ustream, so you can actually see how your player interact with each other. Players and stats are very similar to '94, but the PC version allows 4 lines and a lot more line-up tinkering. Lots of fun, and a fairly short commitment. Jer
