I started recording my games after I learned how, so I figured I'd throw them in a thread here for anyone interested. Maybe in the future we can incorporate YouTube vids directly in the boxscores like smozoma does for the playoffs (For example, game 1 of the '05 finals: http://www.blitz94.com/boxscore.asp?gameid=3611

Lost all my pesos last night vs IceStorm . Good games, Ice was the better player and wore me down in 6 games. Congrats bud, and good luck! Had a blast playing this season, thanks for creating and running this awesome league Smozoma! I look forward to returning next season!

I recorded some 2on2 games, which use 4 controllers. I can replay the .krec games via netplay with no problem and I thought I was converting to .gmv with no problem either. However, when I play back the .gmv to convert to .avi, the game is not the same! I noticed that the .gmv records just two controllers, and it has a checkbox to record a 3rd controller. When I redid it with the 3rd controller checked, it recorded 3 controllers. Now...the obvious question, how can I get this to record all 4 controllers? I see there are some awesome 2vs2 videos out there, so I'm curious if this was done using the method described in this thread, or with a different capture device (i.e. hypercam, etc)

Awesone read! My bets: 10,000! (Columbian Pesos) on KingRaph to win it all! Also, $500 on Carse first round vs VC and $500 on Zalex for the cup. Zalex playing too great on both ends of the ice right now. Other matchups are too scary or deep odds.

I'm confused. Wouldn't having 56% more goals on the PP suggest that the PP IS an advantage? If it weren't, I would think the ratio would be closer to 1:1, instead of 1.56:1

Just set your checking line to SC2 or some other way to compensate. Yeah, you can be generous and let your opponent use the almighty Pittsburgh. I think if I told my wife that I'm driving to Philly for the weekend to play in a live '94 tournament, she may actually kill me.

I was on one day, wookie wasn't, wookie was on the other day, I couldn't make it...etc. We're online enough, but we haven't synced up this past week. I'll be on tonight.

I have tried this about 10 more times since then (still emulator) and have not been able to repeat the results. When the CPU goes into the "no way you're going to score now" mode, it's incredibly frustrating.

Help us naive GENS guys -- what am I seeing here? Pressing Y after you get knocked down will immediately get your player back up and hold your opponent?

My remaining 4 games are against the NYI, who is now Houly. I'll have no problem catching him online in the next few days as he's on frequently.

I don't get it either. With a website this year (MVP DAN) and everything, I thought this would move along faster. Obviously Blitz league is one part, and playing the '12 ROM takes a bit more time than a regular game due to the line changes/offsides, but at the end of the day, these games should be played. My suggestion is to be firm with deadlines, and get this season moving.

I'm too casual a fan these days to really respond to this properly, but hockey was my #1 sport growing up. My interest weaned in the late 90's, and apparently I wasn't alone. I'd argue for contraction, not expansion. It's not going to happen, but the NHL doesn't need Columbus, Nashville, Phoenix, Florida, etc. Rivalries are what make sports great, and I like any division where the Rangers play the Islanders, Flyers, Devils (ok, give me the old Patrick division) more. I like the 4-4 OT rule with 1 point guaranteed, but like Sicarius, I don't particularly like the shootout. I understand the NHL needs to generate more excitement, so fine. At the end of the day, the NHL needs to market those rivalries. I haven't checked, but I'm betting the Bos/Van cup series was highly watched. We had an original six, we had US/Can, and what made it great was the little feud that developed. It was great. If this realignment gets local rivalries to matchup in the playoffs more (and it looks like it does), I'm all for that.
