  1. Here a link to the slapshot roster Slap Shot Roster Might be better to use 93 with all the goons
  2. As a 95 uber geek, I don't think there is a weight bug in 95. And 95 is great game, has quite a bit of differences than 94. But great in it's own right.
  3. Well I looked at nose again and must of been crosseyed, I thought I saw more attributes with letter ratings. I guess my qustion is what wboy posed, if a guy is rated 5 in hex, is his speed different in the game if he's hot (98) or cold(81) or is it the same speed and EA is making it more complex.
  4. I just was playing around with NOSE with NHL 95 and looked at ratings and was amazed and how they seemed different from the cartridge (which I normally play) and then went to this site to find more info on it. Bumping this interesting thread from a long time ago. Any more understanding to this since 2005? Any other threads explain more about ratings?
  5. So if you have a higher home ice, or powerplay number, how does that benefit your team? Do players get an attribute boost?
  6. thanks for the info. I am not sure what are s60 phones, but I was looking at the Blackjack II and the Moto Q. The Q has a site with a forum to download emulators but it looks like the Q can't handle 3 buttons pushed at once, which may be a problem for some games. Everything Q Do you have any experience witht he Q? My one thing I don't like about the iphone is there are no "real" buttons for the controller.
  7. My Cell phone plan is up and I am due for a new phone. Anybody have a phone/pda that runs emulators well for Sega and NES?
  8. So I presume you won't be bidding on said item?
  9. WEEZER NHL 95 Win Weezer's copy of 'NHL 95,' but time is running out By Greg Wyshynski Puck Daddy officially endorses Weezer as one of the best rock bands on the planet, no matter how many uneven albums and ironic lead singer mustaches they choose to produce. Eye on the Media's Steve Lepore brings us this roundabout tie between the band and the greatest series of hockey video games ever produced: ...folks, here's your chance to get your hands on a piece of real weezer history. Way back in 1994 and 1995, weezer had a then state-of-the-art Sega Genesis on tour with them. Everyone would play NHL 95 for hours as we rolled along in the bus, and when things didnt go well, the console got punched! But it survived! Then in '98, I decided to use the console and games as a fan club contest prize, for desigining the new fanclub t-shirt. One Tracy Chang won for her aweome "I'm A Weezer Fan" design, and we shipped her the box of Sega classics. Now Tracy has decided to let this priceless memento go ("It's still in good working order!" she says), and it's on ebay for whoever wins it! Check it out! Clearly, the record label has stopped paying for spell check. Time is short, friends: The auction is set to end at June 29 at 6:12 p.m. PDT. After 30 bids, the price for the whole package was $315. This would be a worthy addition to any music memorabilia or hockey video game collection. Maybe you can even get Rivers Cuomo to autograph it someday. If we ever met Rivers Cuomo, there are only two questions we'd ask him: "What's with these homies dissin' my girl?" and "Why do they gotta front?" And then he'd smile out of sympathy.
  10. Sweet, let me know when you are going to release it. I love playing 95 against another person but the cpu AI is too soft, hopefully the speed burst mod will be a way to remedy it somewhat.
  11. That is so true on the new games, way too many 90's, although the old NHL 16 bit games were a bit harsh on the goalies, a 50 rating for a starting goalie ain't right. But back to the main topic, I think LaFontaine had a pretty accurate rating.
  12. That is pretty cool, Love the "custom" home and away signs.
  13. Oh, there's some crazy sheeet, man. There's a dude in the bleachers. Has he got a gun? I dunno! RED TEAM GO, RED TEAM GO.
  14. Yep, that is my buddy's signature move. Like sabre dance say the players get caught on the goalie trying to follow the puckhandler around the net. It's pretty hard to do on a regular basis. Not as efficient as the down and "B" move
  15. Did you try www.romnation.net
  16. That is cool, I'd give John Schrader $10 to just say to me "For the Calgary Flames Gary Roberts is on a Hot streak, while Mike Vernon is off his game." But John should not of acted so pissy, he thinks he's so wise on the cold and hot streaks, but why o why did you never tell me to start Robert Reichel? He is a force in 95. I should have your job John.
  17. Thanks, I am a little new to the online league so any help from you vets would be great. I'll see if I can download the ROM tonight. Getting Married in two weeks so life is a little hectic but best time for me to play is 6pm-10pm CST on weekdays. If you have a game with me on the schedule shoot me an IM or email and hopefully we can get the game logged in the next two weeks. I have a meeting with Coach Delgado right now to talk the future of the Devils Franchise, I can't believe SSIG signed him to a Lifetime Contract.
  18. Good one. Yeah Second OT I think there are no Goalies.
  19. My line up has not changed since the game was released. Skinny Medium Fat Fat
  20. Yeah, Fernandez is a head case too, so neither of his brains are working.
  21. It's because they are taking all the MN players Baseball - Ortiz Football -Moss Basketball - Garnett Hockey - Fernandez (ok that's a little bit of a strecth)
  22. Just seen games locally in MN. The excel center is a great place to watch hockey, especially compared to the old met the north stars played in, though I did see a detroit redwing accidently punch a ref against the north stars when I was a kid. Also went to a lot of College games as I went to St Cloud State. We would travel to Minnesota, Minnesota State, Duluth and Wisconsin to watch them play. Good times.
  23. According to wikipedia. June 30, 1992- Traded by the Quebec Nordiques to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Peter Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, Mike Ricci, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, Philadelphia's 1993 1st round draft choice, Philadelphia's 1994 1st round draft choice and $15,000,000.
