dalstarsfan
Alright folks, I thought I'd give a classic NHL league a try. I need coaches and stats keepers. Teams: Anaheim Boston- Bo Knows NHL 94 Buffalo- CamKneely Calgary-s Carse Chicago- RedWingDevil Dallas- Wags Detroit- Donnybrook Edmonton- Houli Florida Hartford Los Angeles Montreal- dalstarsfan New Jersey NY Islanders NY Rangers- beavers33 Ottawa Philadelphia Pittsburgh- Mav Quebec- Russian Rocket San Jose St. Louis- kupuck13 Tampa Bay Toronto- TubaHero Vancounver- IQ25 Washington Winnipeg- nats1 All Star teams are not to be played. We use current NHL rules, without offsides or penalties. By current rules, I mean we use Shootout to settle regular ties and continuous OT in the playoffs as well as the current points system. dalstarsfan
Four down...at least eight to go! We can start with 12, as I said, 48 hours to change teams if you want! But I ain't giving up the Habs!
The Russian Rocket
I would take Quebec. Thank you =D
dalstarsfan
Five down, seven to go! Here is how the divisions layout so far: Anderson Division (aka Eastern Conference): Montreal Washngton Quebec Buffalo Silva Division (Western Conference): Chicago We will start once there are at least twelve teams. Once all teams are taken, this Playoff format is used: 12 at the start then 8 then 4 then two. We play a 1-3-3-3 format Edit: I forgot to mention that trades are allowed through Nose as long as once a trade is done, one of the teams involved posts the info so all the rest of us can update their rosters. Ex: Let's say for the sake of the league, that I (Montreal) trade Muller off to DAL for Modano. Once the trade is agreed upon and goes through me as league owner, then all mus open NOSE and edit their rosters to include said trade. As I said, I am the final authority on trades. If I should reject a trade, the decision is FINAL Edited October 30, 2009 by dalstarsfan

dalstarsfan
We have our 12 teams! We can start! And joining is allowed up until the all star break, as our statastician will pick the all star teams. Divisions: Anderson (Formally Kline) Division (Northern Division) Toronto Buffalo Boston NY Rangers Silva Division (Northwest Division) Calgary Dallas Detroit Edmonton Montreal Street Division (Southwest Division) Chicago Quebec Winnipeg Vancouver Playoffs: Top 3 from each division make it. In case of tie, a one game playoff will determine it. Scoring: 3 points for win, 2 for OT Loss, 1 for SO Loss. However if a team loses in OT but fails to score five times in that game, they get half their final goal total in points (Ex: Let's say I lose 3-2, to oh say, Buffalo. While BUF gets the full 3 points, I get one. 3 2 1 Let's start! Can someone move this into the right place (Active Online Leagues, I believe) Edited November 1, 2009 by dalstarsfan
halifax
Can someone move this into the right place (Active Online Leagues, I believe) Ask Evan for a new sub-forum and then you can use that sub forum for all of your league information, posting scores, schedule games or whatever you want. nationals1
alright ive gotta few questions one, whats your AIM dallasstarsfan two, whats the schedual like... will it be like 4 games inside division then two outside?
dalstarsfan
I don't have aim now but I'll get it again. and schedule structure goes like this: 12 teams, so 4 games in each division. EX: Montreal starts off playing a game a piece against in conference opponents, and then they play those same number of games against out of division opponents, however interdivision play doesn't start till the All Star Break. RedWingDevil
You sure you don't want to bring in more people until then? Also, get someone that can help with statkeeping. Statto could help if a website is in your needs.
dalstarsfan
Can someone get hold of Statto? And no, 12 is enough for now. But they have till the All Star Break (24 game mark) to sign up before they have to wait till next season.
