CoachMac Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 Looking forward to The Battle of Alberta. Have a good trip. Quote
kingraph Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 NYR vs STL. First 3 games were routs. The 4th game was a great one, neither team could pull away. STL had a barrage of shots late in the 3rd, couldn't get one past Richter. The Rangers come out quick and Gartner sqeaked one by CuJo with 5 seconds left for the game winner (see video). Tough loss. Darko99 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Yeah i missed my chance to rob one!!! But king is a great player and to win one you got to be VERY VERY VERY focus and don't miss any little chance you have!!! Ggs Kinger Quote
CoachMac Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 All week 1 games are complete early! Great job following the schedule and getting way ahead if we stay on this pace I may adjust schedule to finish faster. KingRaph is 10-0 and AJ has won 12 straight! Week 2 Match-ups. Deadline is Sunday 2-22-15 CoachMac vs Darko99 KingRaph vs Labs66 AngryJay93 vs Brutus Skeletor vs Lupz27 Jer33 and Deadmeow have already completed week 2. Don't forget Farm League. And keep playing ahead. Quote
LABS_66 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 There are a few stats worth honorable mention after week one but I think the one that stands out the most is Lupz 35 fights won.....he is on pace to CRUSH his last season record of 61. On pace for a ridiculous 210! Quote
CoachMac Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 (edited) There are a few stats worth honorable mention after week one but I think the one that stands out the most is Lupz 35 fights won.....he is on pace to CRUSH his last season record of 61. On pace for a ridiculous 210! Somewhere Don Cherry and Terry O'Reilly are smiling. Strangely enough some series have seen very little fighting. Raph and Darko had just 2 fights in 4 games. It would be interesting to see where fighting is league wide compared to last year. Edited February 13, 2015 by CoachMac Quote
kingraph Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Being the stat lover I am, I wanted to share with you some stats through season 02 so far. What these mean yet, I don't know (is it the team, or the coach, or both?). If I get around to it, I may go back and get the stats for season 01. Anyway, I'll update periodically (it's quick now) and post. Maybe easier to transfer to google docs and embed in a new thread...we'll see. Let me know if you guys like this or not. Make of it what you will. The green highlight is the highest figure for the category, and red the lowest. Note that two games did not have screen grabs, so my numbers will not match the nhl92.com site. Quote
Brutus Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 I'd like to see team shot power as a skill factored in somewhere as a curiousity. My guys can't even reach the goalie from where some of your shots were going in. Someone out one in from behind the blue line on me. If I'm not point blank, mine don't go in, and if I am, the still don't always hit the net. So is assume that shots fired is equal to shot power for most coaches, minus coach Mac. He has some shooters & obviously needs to open up the play book a big!!! Quote
Lupz27 Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 deadmeow put our 4 game series in the season 1 thread by accident, dont know how to move post. Quote
deadmeow Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Boston and Hartford split their 4 game series, Hartford winning games 1 and 3. Boston was dropping long bomb goals on the sorry Hartford goalie all night long, it was so bad. I will post a couple of youtube videos of them in the forum Edited February 14, 2015 by deadmeow Quote
CoachMac Posted February 14, 2015 Author Report Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Boston 2 games with NO FIGHTS! St. Louis was strong on Home Ice and took 2 from the Oilers. Game 4 was a heartbreaker for the Oilers. Esa Tikkanen tied it with 9 seconds left to send it to OT and then Peter Klima had the game on his stick twice in ot before Brett Hull put the Dagger in the Oilers. Great games. Darko and the Blues have really improved. Edited February 14, 2015 by CoachMac Quote

Lupz27 Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 Boston 2 games with NO FIGHTS! Yeah Hartford wouldn't fight the big bad B's, would stay out of arms reach so after 2 games I stopped trying to fight. Quote
Skeletor Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 LA vs STL Crazy series. I managed to score a winning goal by shooting the puck off the glass, which then rebounded off of his player's head. It's too bad that I didn't record the game. Quote

CoachMac Posted February 18, 2015 Author Report Posted February 18, 2015 Farm League action between Detroit and Chicago. Chicago was up 9-1 after 1 period. Bob Probert was on the hunt the whole game to fight someone. Finally after the Final Horn Bob McGill landed a few before Bob dropped him. The Islanders gave CoachMac his first win in the Farm League in OT. The San Jose Sharks are in First Place at 3-0 in the Farm League. Quote
CoachMac Posted February 18, 2015 Author Report Posted February 18, 2015 The Rangers are still undefeated 16-0-0 Quote
