  1. I merged these 2 topics since they were the same, thanks Red for pointing this out. Stephane Lebeau, Pelle Eklund, and Robert Kron are a few names that come to mind for the Genesis version.
  2. Hey, Yes Wboy couldn't of said it better, and remember to also read through all of the editing topics on this forum. Sometimes there's little tips and such that could be something you think about and is already answered. On the links page there's also useful reference to certain programs' websites. -Evan
  3. I would bet he's going to see Crosby play with the most improved NHL team. Just a thought guys, why don't you try playing people online through the emulator? If SNES is your game, the Snes9x emulator works great, though I'm not a big fan of the SNES version. I'm sure someday in the future we'll have an NHL94 fest somewhere in the world. -Evan
  4. Sorry.. I don't have a Kaillera server up and running.. though if someone wanted to test online play with me, we could always do that. -Evan
  5. Thanks Wboy... now I see the trapazoid, hehe. My free time has been slim lately, but I do intend to make the crease tutorial soon. Once that's up, you might be able to figure out the trapazoid from the logic within the tutorial. Maybe if we're lucky I'll figure it out myself, but don't hold your breath. -Evan
  6. Thanks guys.. I try to keep things fresh. Glad you like it.
  7. Hey Chris, In my latest ROM I'm making with Ben, I was able to adjust the crease area by changing just 3 tiles to look like the modern crease. I haven't seen the new NHL ice yet, are there images I could see somewhere of it? Anyway, I'll try to have a tutorial on how to change the crease tiles sometime soon. It takes some time to explain, which is probably why Swos never got around to finishing his tutorial. It's similar thinking to changing the banners and startup logos. I'll let you know when I create that tutorial. -Evan
  8. So getting back to the online league, deadmeow and I are probably gonna team up for a Gens '94 league in the future. Though as Tickenest informed me, the Kaillera server/website has been down for a whlie. Does anyone have a way to contact them to see whats going on? -Evan
  9. Yes its possible to make those graphics whatever you want.. you should know that by now, hehe. You can make it a 1x1 pixel dot if you like, or nothing at all. -Evan
  10. Hey, I have updated the downloads page of the website, with some of the intro songs from the Genesis and SNES versions of NHL94. (at the bottom of the Games & Music section) I don't have any midi versions yet, but who knows what one can find on the internet. -Evan
  11. Hey guys, I've finally added the tutorial on how to change the player star's to something else. I really like the circles in the screenshots below. Click here to read how to change the star. -Evan
  12. Awesome! I've seen skaters go "on the other side of the ice" but never the goalie. I'll have to add this to the bugs page of the website. You never know what's going to happen in this game. I love it! What teams or rom is that? -Evan
  13. wow... fake players, teams, logos... thats starting to sound like a waste to me. shame. at that rate, they should of updated the rosters and put the current teams, players into it with ALL the teams so that we could edit that part of the game and have all the current teams on 1 file. hehe.
  14. If you're using Tile Layer Pro, you can easily adjust that by hitting the minus and plus keys ( - and + ) on the keyboard. This aligns the tiles. There are multiple sets of banners in the rom. 1 set for the startup banners, 1 set for the ingame banners, and there may be 1 more set as well. Let me know if that helps. -Evan
  15. Flyjam, I'm not sure there's a way to change those without going through the editor and changing the tiles. I don't think it would take that long though. Once you put the default pictures in the tile arranger of Tile Layer Pro, just keep putting them down over the player pictures. -Evan

Hey Red, Sounds great, just send over the pics or video when you get a chance and I'll post it on the revamped records page. I wasn't suprised when I saw Boston as your goal scoring team. -Evan
  17. Hey Jeff, I would be interested in playing in the '94 league. I would also be interested in helping organize and maintain it. What bin file and rules do you usually play with? -Evan
  18. Sorry I didn't get back to you on this, though I thought I emailed you about it. You can email me your address and I'll send you a burned nhl94 cd that works on my system. -Evan
  19. Hey, I was just curious if anyone has ever thought about having 4 lines in nhl94 (or any classic EA game) instead of 3. I know it's a long shot and probably can't happen since it would be a major change, but it would make things more realistic to the NHL. So... instead of Scoring1, Scoring2, and Checking... having Line1, Line2, Line3, and Line4 and also the Powerplay and Penaltykill lines. My cousin and I just brainstormed this last night, and figured I would throw it out there to all the editors. Again, it's probably too much to change in the game without having a problem, but maybe there's a way. Any thoughts? -Evan
  20. Most Under-rated players for me (this is the Genesis version): 01 - Tom Pederson (SJ) 02 - Ken Sutton (Buf) 03 - Wayne Presley (Buf) 04 - Kevin Todd (Edm) 05 - Robert Kron (Hfd) 06 - Luciano Borsato (Wpg) 07 - Kevin Hawgood (Phi) 08 - Marty McInnis (Isles) 09 - Marc Bureau (TB) 10 - Paul Ranheim (Cal)
  21. Thanks Mack. I try to keep adding to the site when I can. Next new feature coming soon will be a new records section where anyone can email me images/videos of records that beat whatever is currently on the site. Should be fun because in the beginning there will be like no records. -Evan
  22. Yea, I think the best thing to do is just add the 91 forum so if someone has a question comment about nhl91 or nhl97, it will be easy to find.
  23. Sure that can be done, I didnt realize those games were really played much but its only fair to have the entire classic series (91-98) here I'll get that going soon. -Evan
  24. My top 10 draft picks in NHL94: (players who I have the most fun playing with) 01 - Stephan Lebeau 02 - Evgeny Davydov 03 - Pelle Eklund 04 - Andrei Kovalenko 05 - Pavel Bure 06 - Ken Sutton 07 - Wendel Clark 08 - Kevin Todd 09 - Paul Ranheim 10 - Robert Kron
  25. That's great! There was a game once when I was playing 2 on 2 with a few friends on the genesis 94. A whilstle stopped play, someone shot the puck into the net after the whistle, the puck sat on the crease for a second and then it went in and counted as a goal. I don't really see these kinds of things happen with other games. Another reason these games are so much fun. -Evan
