  1. Let us know if you have luck with virtualbox, I've got hamachi to run but I haven't tried playing online against anyone with that setup (I use a Mac so I dual-boot instead)
  2. What about installing VirtualBox and loading up a Windows VM? Maybe Wine will work also?
  3. Ohhhhhh, I see it now. Would help if I read the print on the box
  4. No, it's for the SNES. The NES has a lockout chip. I know because I have super famicom games and I had to cut the tabs off inside my SNES cart slot in order to play them
  5. It's dumb that the SNES version has 2 slots. The only region lock on SNES is the 2 plastic tabs inside the cartridge slot. You make a case without them (or cut them out if you own a regular SNES) and you can play any game from any region.
  6. I can get the site setup a lot quicker now. I usually give it a few days for guys to notice if there is something wrong with their rosters. If I'm around I can have the site setup in about 30 min now. So we can do Sunday night deadline and we can start Monday night if you want @Brutus

  9. Hi @demonseed welcome to the site!!!! I would recommend getting one of these - https://krikzz.com/store/home/44-mega-everdrive-v2.html The Mega Everdrive uses an SD card to load games. You load the game from the on-screen menu and play it just like it is a real cartridge. So you can download any of the ROMs from the site and play it with just one cartridge. A repro cart will prob run around the same price as above, and be limited to just one game (ROM).
  10. I'll take Ottawa if atomic wants Calgary
  11. They asked me to take them down due to copyright reasons I downloaded the FB live videos, I guess I can't do that.
  12. I posted the 2 that I know of on the front page of nhl94.com. EDIT: Just added the True Game Fans Network one Do you have others?
  13. http://nhl94.com/html/editing/edit_bin.php#edit_bin_startup_banners Did you look at this? It's slightly confusing, but gets the work done. You can find a color you like from looking at any RGB table you find on the internet.
  14. Congrats guys! Make sure the video shows you turning the Genesis on, plugged into the TV, and the controllers connected to it. You have to go to twingalaxies.com and make an account. Then go to the Game in the Game List and submit the score for the record. Here's a link to the NHL'94 Record List - http://www.twingalaxies.com/nhl-94/sega-genesis-sega-mega-drive
  15. Please show me an example of your issue. What rom are you using? I'm not sure how easy that would be to make the overall rating dynamic. I will have to see. I just tried it with the default SNES 94 ROM and it works fine.
  16. I would like to keep them accurate, it's not a priority right now though. There are other things that need to be done that I'm still dragging my feet on.
  17. Can I combine them, yes. Is it a ton of work? Yes. There are a few things that complicate it. But it can be done, and I promise I'll work on it. The one major issue is replacement coaches. I used to not keep track of who played which game. So right now all I have to go by on early seasons is what coach finished the season (this is the issue with separating GENS and SNES stats. Those who are GENS only or SNES only can be updated easily). I forget what season I started keeping track, but it was pretty early on. I'm thinking maybe wiping out all stats from pre-save state leagues and just keep track on post save state leagues (2013 - ).
