a bunch of my friends work as game testers and are in the proccess of testing NHL 09. and they say it sucks the more they put in the game the more s**t there is to f**k up and not work 94 will never be de-throned Edit- i just realized you were saying 08 was a good game. it was buggy as s**t! and these days EA is pure evil. When i was testing their games they didnt give a s**t about nothing. They rush produce games so they can just make money. they dont care about quality

Well i was doing a little perusing through the hex (SNES) and i found the section with the penalty naming conventions. So if you wanted to change an "interference" to say "Yo he be up in my grill" or "Penalty shot" to say "say WHAT homeslice?!" you can just flick the magic wand and it shall be done. anyways! what i also found in this section was "Major, fighting" and "instigator" likes if there was such calls in the game. and i was like "whhaa?" so i dunno? can anyone help shed light on this? is there some super secret magical way to get an instigator penalty? im sure most of you will say they were gonna put fighting in the game, but didnt. still kinda doesnt make sense for there to be penalties some what still programmed in the game. maybe fighting is still in the code just locked up? maybe you haxxers can exploit the fact that there is still fighting some what in the code, maybe you can find the hidden magical key of mordor and open the gate and unleash fighting in nhl94? anyone?

The problem i have with the leagues im currently in....is that....Most of them Are gens

make sure you both have the same rom in your gens folder

i log on kaillera it either says 0 users logged on, or says (what i assume is the right number) but no one is there. i host...whoever joins i dont see. its all fucked up! yes i tried retarting gens, yes i tried a different server, yes i rebooted my computer. what is this bullshit? i have alot of games to play. if this doesnt some how magicly fix itself soon im retiring from all gens leagues!

I was using hex workshop V5 but the trial expired and i cant use anymore (even if i re install) and i tried other hex editors but they are lame format. i got a good one now but the "copy/paste" feature is for the not free version. so dumb! anyone got a hex editor thats similar looking to hex workshop that will let me copy paste!?

Dangler is 100% right. its a matter of personal opinion. there are a few key things that make each one different and unique to its self. but which ever one you grew up on you will like more. and all this proves is that gens players are ignorant. because they refuse to see this and INSIST that gens is the holy grail. well i see nintendo still making popular games and systems.... i dont see sega anywhere tho...hmmm
