The only thing I liked aside the Season mode for Genesis, was the outstanding manual goalie control in it. Was so precise and the goalies looked cool making saves.

just played Mylec too, connection was fine once he shut down a few programs. like to also note he has a great attitude and is a pleasure to chat with.

I think its only a different name for the file, just smd means sega master drive and bin is just a basic file name. In order to play online you will have to have the exact same file, whether its smd or bin.

The Blues are amazing in Gens, Hull at Center is a MUST and with speedy and hitting wingers Emerson/Bassen, its an amazing Forward line. On Defense, Brown has a solid shot and if you put Giles in, its just another solid checker on this line. Joseph is ok, can make some big saves but is still average.

Tampa Bay could almost crack my Top 5. With Bradley dominating at Center, Kasper is a solid checker and decent passer with either Kontos, if you want somebody that can shoot or some speed, Andersson... this is a solid group of Forwards. The defense and goaltending all depend on how good you are as a player because with this team you need to use your Forwards on defense.

Nice to see you have joined the community, but I do have this to say about the rules you prefer... You will have a very hard time finding games using them because about 90% of the guys here use these rules when playing Genesis: Emulator: Gens Period Length: 5 min Penalties: On, Except Off-Sides Line Changes: Off Evan's league that is starting registration soon, uses these rules and the original NHL '94 ROM.

The real poor man's Roenick is Brian Bradley. Very similiar player, but just slower and has less Shot Power. I find that he's the best 3 Speed player(for those of you that know NOSE) in the game and is only rated 71 Overall.
