  1. Optimizing the BGR values in a graphics editing program is a necessity - the logos hues or swatches must mirror the ones you have set in a home teams palette. Use NOSE's color sniper to get the exact values. If the colors aren't Siamese then TM will render them for you, producing some undesirable results.
  2. Another great discovery by smozoma but the question remains.. Would Shawn Chambers still have a 1 overall rating in NHLPA93? Shame EA didn't create a separate rating system for defensemen. Most of them are relegated as crash test dummies with mobility and scoring ability as the metric.
  3. Throughout history, mankind has sought to find the ultimate hockey video game..while this journey may have ended in 1993 with the advent of NHL '94, one question remains....Which is version is the best? The National Video Game preservation society, (NVGPS) in conjunction with Adopt a Game; a non profit organization that provides homes for neglected and abused games, have employed I. clockwise, to conduct the experiment to conclusively determine once and for all which edition of NHL '94 is gooder! *thunder and lightning cracks in the background* Memories...
  4. The knives are supposed to be for the cake...

  6. Slated to play jrod tonight, geared up to play Ice earlier but he was having connection snafu's and we agreed to play the series later. Only coach that I have games with that I haven't seen on AIM and hasn't responded to my pm was EnsuingFracas.
  7. Got one foot out the door right now so I haven't given the schedule a lot of thought, but maybe10 games would be against division rivals, 5 games outside division opponents, and 5 games out of conference. If anyone has some observations about how to strike a balance between conferences and divisions, go ahead and post them here. Input would be helpful since most guys around here play a lot more 5on5 than I do these days. Here's the teams if anyone want's to piece it together: 1. politelyerased - Boston 2. Freydey - Edmonton 3. sarcdoc23 - Calgary 4. habs - New Jersey 5. Wittgenstein - Minnesota 6. flamingpavelbure - Vancouver 7. kaberger8 - Pittsburgh 8. hokkee - Chicago 9. 9. Thanks everyone. It was a day to reflect on how finite my time is, then go out that night at cut 5 years off my life expectancy. Gf got me good seats to games 3 and 4 of Flyers vs Pens too. BTW: I don't recall saying TPF has the best GC I've ever played against - maybe I did in jest, but his GC was very solid in the one game we did play. However, I did burn him on one of my double touch 3 timers: froze the keeper like a statue on a 3 timer around the horn in the offensive zone passing LW to C and back to RW.
  10. Yes, Flyers best asset is their scoring depth with 3 30 goal scorers. As for the the 4th, Jeff Carter, he visited the red light district 46 times in the regular season and looks to be coming of age. But if this is going to be a series Biron will have to replicate his performance against Montreal last year. Personally I feel the Penguins will win without the need of a 7th game. And I hope we can wait till a game is actually played before everyone says how gay other people are. Which would be gay.
  11. It all starts at the top with the management. Too much time is spent popping bubble wrap and eating bananas, this has to be addressed. But the CEO has to many 'special interests' for policy changes. (CEO John Riccitiello) The architects who deigned EA headquarters should have made the building one giant live in NHL'94 cartridge. A structural flaw. All numbers after 94 should be forbidden by company policy. This years titles should have been NHL'94 #18, Battlefield NHL'94 etc. This would of prevented NHL'95 from ever spawning. And all sentences on EA grounds should begin and end with NHL'94. Example:
  12. Sweden is furious about the stagnant Ice Hockey tournament. If this persists they will to resort force, and take free hot coco out of all ski resorts.
  13. Dispatched PM's to all coaches that I have showdowns with along with my availability. If coordinating a matchup proves difficult I will try to make concessions to my schedule. Wanted to complete my season this weekend but I suppose it's just not feasible with the Easter holiday.
  14. Geronimo look out below here comes the series with the offbeat flow.
  15. Sweden (clockwise) 10 Canada (Habs) 2 gg
  16. I provided them in the last topic you created:
  17. How's everything back at the segathon ranch? You guys give the prohibition movement hope. Anyway, you might need the Visual Basic run times.
  18. The 9 out of 10 people were really disappointed when they opened this thread to not find a rom with Jawas. Off topic: you can create Ninja uniforms by changing all the hues in a teams uniforms palette - besides the skate and stick swatch - to the color of the ice and they will all be invisible. Told you so:
  19. Yes. It's there in the league rules | game settings, and right before the input fields of the registration form.
  20. Even if you could it would be impossible to tell the teams apart.
  21. All coaches have a one week window to customize their lines. It consumes way too much time editing all of them during play. This league rom will not be hosted on the site but it will be sent to all coaches along with their user names and passwords. Contact information will not be available publicly on the site but AIM contacts will be sent to coaches via email, PM, or both. Post screen caps of your lines, or post your lines in this sequence. Copy and paste it or something, it will expedite things for me when I set up them up. Thanks. ________________________________________ (Team) SC1: G: RD: LD: RW: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ SC2: RD: LD: RW: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ CHK: RD: LD: RW: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ PP1 RD: LD: RW: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ PP2 RD: LD: RW: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ PK1 RD: LD: C: LW: EX: ________________________________________ PK2 RD: LD: C: LW: EX:
  22. With donnybrook's selection of Winnipeg that leaves one final team. Swos has the ignominy of a forced pick and is assigned Toronto by default. I don't really feel any sympathy for him even in being so unlucky, as one of the elite players I know he can and probably still will inflict serious damage in this league. So all coaches have their seats and the team bracket breaks down like this: 1. politelyerased - Boston 2. Freydey - Edmonton 3. sarcdoc23 - Calgary 4. habs - New Jersey 5. Wittgenstein - Minnesota 6. flamingpavelbure - Vancouver 7. kaberger8 - Pittsburgh 8. hokkee - Chicago 9. Matt Hurray - Los Angeles 10. XdeathsbloodX - St. Louis 11. smozoma - Buffalo 12. WagsTh - Washington 13. boknowsnhl94 - New York R. 14. clockwise - Montreal 15. Newjerseykiller - Detroit 16. Houlanov - Quebec 17. puckhead8926 - New York I. 18. Vocally Caged - Philadelphia 19. Iceguy94 - Hartford 20. donnybrook94 - Winnipeg 21. swos - Toronto As aforementioned, all coaches will have one week from this day to flip and trade their teams to another coach. However, no coach may trade his team to a member who is not listed above. And no teams may be traded once the season commences. Sorry to all the coaches who registered and weren't given a seat. As reserves, coaches that didn't get a team will be the first tapped in the unfortunate event that a coaching replacement is needed.
  23. Canada wears green getup's, good job nes. Wanted the Ruskies but I'll acquiesce and claim Sweden.
  24. Chelios stay strong my Greek brother...
  25. Remaining teams are: Hartford Toronto Winnipeg RedWingDevil with the next selection.
