  1. PAUSE. Zepplin has been added at the end of the round according oto Plabs. Need to reverse the picks to Lupz - who can make whichever pick he wants Lemieux or Recchi - and Zepp can then make two picks. That is unless Zep wants two totally different guys.
  2. Is there a rom out there to try the players/teams with these settings?
  3. Maybe he's a huge NHL94 fan? Nobody will be asking him to do it for free - but perhaps (seeing as it's already coded)..and IF..IF..IF it can be programmed for netplay. Coaches would have to buy the program from his site and he could make his money back that way. ..or maybe we start a kickstarter of our own to fund the work. Approach all of ex-NHLers and offer kickstarter rewards of stat boosts in the game - that way JR has to match every dollar.
  4. I found this quote interesting from the kickstarter page: I wonder what he's using for this, and whether it may be something that could be programmed for netplay.
  5. So if he plugged any cartridge into this, he could create sheets of original code? That could be a game-changer... literally.
  6. Played some exis with JV and Flatcrusher last night - a lot of fun.
  7. Smoz gives all of the hex edits to allow goalies to roam anywhere they want with and without the puck. I had some success with changes in previous rom edits - check it out here: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/11467-how-to-let-the-goalie-roam-farther-with-and-without-the-puck/
  8. I'd inquired in the past about the option of hacking the rom to only count 'one-timer' goals, but I'm wondering if we couldn't just use the new exi site to only report the successful one-timer goals from the game savestates? So, you'd still run 3-5-7 game series, but on the results pages - the scores would reflect only one-timer goals (and perhaps punish goals scored other ways?). Any interest in this type of play? Any interest in creating such a site?
  9. Have you updated the video drivers? Sometimes the Card manufacturer will have software you can download to tweak the performance. Driver download: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/111826 Have you tried running GENS in XP compatibility mode (Does W10 still have that feature)? Compatibility Mode: http://www.howtogeek.com/228689/how-to-make-old-programs-work-on-windows-10/ How about screen resolutions, try backing them to a lower resolution?
  10. One small change, JVR had his number changed from 21 to 25 after the Leafs retired all "Honoured Numbers". Not a major - or even necessary change, just thought I'd mention it.
  11. I thought you might have purchased a real budget machine, but that computer has great specs for gaming. A quick google search will help you increase the 'dedicated video memory', but I'm not sure any of that will hold you back. The larger screen should also be really nice to play on. So how is it that you still don't have internet?
  12. Looks great guys. I really do think that if you could come up with an online tourney tracker, this could really be the answer to the lull in league-play. Jer
  13. I had a thought. Maybe you could edit these "making of the game" into a web-series to help promote the main documentary? That way, people who watch the documentary would already have the backstory of the game itself. Or maybe, they need to be stitched into a documentary of their own.
  14. I feel like I've played that one, perhaps during the beta. I just have a hard time with the sims that don't have NHL players - it's just not as engaging for me. I was addicted to a game called simhl.com, I eventually had to give it up as it became all-consuming. It's still around, but hasn't seen an update in years. Still play in a classic EHM league, and a STHL league too. Dynasty Fantasy leagues have really been filling that sim void though - salary cap, positional requirements, rookie drafts.
