  1. this doesnt really fit in with the topic but I figured it would have been a waste to make a new topic for this little post tho. I just wanted to let everyone know that my gaming laptop got totally raped by a virus that screwed up the hard drive. I should be back up and running by next weekend tho so it doesnt look like I will miss much if any time of the season (not that i wouldnt just catch up anyway cause everyone knows I'll play as much as I can). But yeah I know I've been quiet but I'm still around, don't worry.
  2. Im very very in with my PHX, tho I might not be able to play untill after next weekend due to my laptop having a virus
  3. dont worry about the thing on the side, its not the end of the world if its exposed like that, i had (have? mine might be like that now) a genesis that was like that and it still worked fine. now if that was gone then i'd be worried. but give it a shot, it might need a bit of tlc to clean it up but should be all good.
  4. Fortunately for me the controller I have is built like a damn tank. In my 91 series with Frey I honestly think i slammed the thing on the ground 4 times in 5 games.
  5. I've got 3 copies, only 1 Genesis tho, so I have 2 extra copies lol
  6. The Psychic Hotline conference has the 8 teams for the playoffs set the seeding just needs to be sorted out, Toronto (13-3-2-0 28pts, 2 Games Left) has the lead in the Oodles of Noodles Division holding the tie-breaker over Vancouver (13-4-1-1 28pts, 1 GL) having won both of their match-ups. Montreal (13-0-0-0 26pts, 7 GL) and Edmonton (12-4-2-0 26pts, 2 GL) are tied atop the Chubby Checker division, the two teams have yet to play one another but Montreal has yet to taste defeat and is looking to take the #1 overall record come season end. St. Louis currently holds the 5 seed in the Psychic with 22 points (10-8-2-0, 0 GL). Washington is holding on to the 6 seed (10-9-1-0, 21pts 0 GL). The Flyers (8-7-0-2 18pts) are in the 7 spot but have 3 games left and could finish as high as the 5 seed if they can earn 4 points in their remaining 3 games. Winnipeg who finished with just 14 points (6-12-2-0) have finished the season in the 8 spot just edging out both Calgary and Pittsburgh who each ended with 13 points. Things are a little bit cloudier over in the Egg Roll conference where 10 of the 11 teams are still mathematically in playoff contention with the Islanders being the only team knocked out. The Rangers have locked down the Pocket Calculator division and the #1 seed in the ER with their 15-4-1-0 record good for 31 points which is currently best in the league. The Devils (11-6-0-0 22pts, 3 GL) have the inside track on winning the Malt Liquor division but Buffalo and LA still have a shot at catching them. Chicago will finish with second best record in the Egg but are stuck in the Pocket Calc division behind the Rangers. Hartford (8-8-3-0 19pts, 1GL) sits precariously in the 4 spot as Buffalo trails by only 2 points (8-5-1-0 17pts, 3GL) and has 2 games in hand. Detroit has an even smaller grasp on the 6 seed having finished their season at 7-12-1-0 good for 15 points, Quebec (6-11-2-0 14pts, 1GL) and Minnesota (7-8-0-0 14pts, 5GL) trail by just 1 point and the Kings (6-7-1-0 13pts) sit on the outside of the playoffs right now but trail Detroit by just 2 points with 6 games left. The Bruins who only have 8 points right now but still have 5 games left to play are not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs but would have to get at least 7 points in those 5 games. Here are the standings in a nice form for you all to peruse: Psychic Hotline Oodles of Noodles Division Team W-L-OTL-T PTS (Possible Max Pts) Current Seed Tor 13-3-2-0 28 (32) 1 Van 13-4-1-1 28 (30) 2 StL 10-8-2-0 22 (22) 5 Wash 10-9-1-0 21 (21) 6 Win 6-12-2-0 14 (14) 8 Chubby Checker Divison Mtl 13-0-0-0 26 (40) 3 Edm 12-4-2-0 26 (30) 4 Phl 8-7-0-2 18 (24) 7 Pitt 6-13-1-0 13 (13) X Cal 5-12-2-1 13 (13) X Egg Roll Malt Liquor Divison Team W-L-OTL-T PTS (Possible Max Pts) Current Seed NJ 11-6-0-0 22 (28) 3 Hrt 8-8-3-0 19 (21) 4 Buf 8-5-1-0 17 (23) 5 Que 6-11-2-0 14 (16) 8 LA 6-7-1-0 13 (25) - NYI 5-12-2-1 13 (13) X Pocket Calculator Division NYR 15-4-1-0 31 (31) 1 Chi 13-4-2-1 29 (29) 2 Det 7-12-1-0 15 (15) 6 Min 7-8-0-0 14 (24) 7 Bos 4-11-0-0 8 (18) -
  7. Come on people, i've been done my season for over a month now, I wanna get these playoffs started!!!!!!!
  8. So Sebe and I just noticed that these very forums were created on our birthday of March 3rd
  9. I have to be a homer and pick the Flyers But for future reference the "Crazy Eights" Line was Lindros (#88), Recchi (#8), and Fedyk (#18) not Lindros, Recchi, and Brind'Amour (tho Brind'Amour is clearly the superior player out of those 2) Oh and you can't forget about the good (and light) Pelle Eklund
  10. also might have to do with the Russian teams and the fact that they cannot be selected as the home team
  11. i vote for ASAP if voting still matters
  12. I'm all in favor of this season starting whenever and in favor of keeping my team how it is

  14. WOOOO HOO, Here comes the BLUES!!!!!!
  15. i use the logitech usb controller that looks like a PS2 controller, i have 2 of them (one for me one for my bro) and the things a friggin tank, i know my brother and I have tossed those suckers around and they still work like new
  16. with the only issue being that Bure isn't in the NHL yet......
  17. because it for some reason doesn't put in the "Hamachi network connection" that its supposed to when it installs, and to make it do so the fix is to change some registry key but as i said im not going near them, already had my laptop semi-crash once before oh and yes, i also use a static IP on my router
  18. I do realize that Hamachi does the port forwarding for you however some of us (cause more than just me has had to have this issue) cannot install Hamachi without going into their registry keys and modifying them, which is not something I'm at all interested in doing because 1 false move and bam, dead computer
