There are some guys on here who can score 100 goals in a game, 10-minute periods. I think my best ever was 36 goals with Quebec in a 20-minute periods playoff game, back when the game came out. I'm better at defense Do you play the Sega version, or the SNES version?

I can't figure out who the girl is... Looks a bit like Tiffany Amber Thiessen(sp?) It's the hight of the sig pic that is the issue, really. But I guess with the avatar pics and the user info in the left column, it doesn't really add any length to the screen.. so.. oh well. There have certainly been bigger ones.

GR = Games Remaining W Need = Wins needed to make the playoffs if the current 8th-place guy keeps his current win% pace. % Need = win% needed to make... ditto Looks like I'm done, I need 10 wins in 11 games, despite already winning 4 in a row (damn Evan Division!) Guys in blue haven't necessarily guaranteed a playoff spot yet, but things look good.

I can't score worth beans with Buffalo. I like Roenick more because I use onetimers a lot, and he's just so smart for them. That sig picture.. a little on the large side

These are cool, but are not as easy to grab from the database (at least in the way I have it), especially the time-dependent ones.

If the league is in Russia, people won't play there. If (most of) the teams are in the Scandinavian countries, where the standard of living is pretty high, it might have a chance. However, I don't think many North American players would go play there unless they couldn't get a job in the NHL, due to the language barrier. Basically, you'd just have the European players stay in Europe, and the Canadian and American players stay in the NHL. I like having the NHL as the top league.. I get to see all the best players.

The thing is, i'm pretty sure the problem is the built-in windows xp zip. It can't unzip these things sometimes. Better zip programs can probably handle them all. I doubt half the people here have RAR, anyway..

Whenever I upload something on here as a ZIP file, people say they can't open it. Can other people try uploading zip files in this thread and then have other people try to open them? I don't know what's going on; I blame the forum! That and I guess people are using the default XP zip functionality thing which apparently sucks pucks. I even used the XP zip to make the most recent zip i uploaded, since I thought that was the problem...apparently it's not

I'm pretty sure the wraparound was from NHLPA93, where the goalie would get stuck on the far post, giving a wide open net. Maybe it's in SNES 94, dunno, haven't played it much. The corresponding cheap goal in NHL94 (GENS) is the walkacross/creasecut, where the goalie flops to the ground as you skate by, giving you a wide open net.

I think this only works if your comp is slow? My comp is decent (P4, 2.8ghz, 1GB RAM) so I wonder if it would do anything for me.. What are the specs of the computers that actually benefit from using scanline rendering? Guess I'll have to try it out to see if there's a dif on mine..
