it's the rosters from the 95 game, but not a straight up copy/paste. I just used all the 94 stats (besides the guys not in 94, those I just did the copy/paste) looks like 95 was released oct. 27th of 94, just not so sure how accurate EA got the rosters.

set up with the rosters in 95 but i used the players/stats from 94 to keep the feel more familliar. The only stats I put in from the 95 game were the players that were not in 94. notable new players........ Rob Niedermayer Chris Pronger Alexei Yashin Bryan Smolinski Mikael Renberg Martin Brodeur Chris Osgood Mike Rathje and a bunch of other rookies Also it seems that most teams are playable now(anh has Lebeau, fla has niedermayer,ott has yashin,sj has makarov,tb has klima) NHL94-5.bin

....maybe trade threads with voting polls for each trade? Or some kind of protection style draft like blitz? so people can kind of keep a core from last season and don't have to turn tricks to get players that they know worked for them.

all in all, the goalies get away with murder

and ea never expected that to happen. when a goalie checks a goalie the sprite of the checked goalie switches to a regular checked player, but yeah goalies are pretty much invincible. that must be a glitch. i'm pretty sure if he didn't injure the skater, the skater would be called for interference.

The game looks exactly the same. The in game sounds are awesome, you might spend a whole period passing the puck into the boards just because the sound effects sound so good. It's also much harder to cheese out the goalie, so the final scores are usually lower

The music is awesome, cheesy guitar solos all over the place. For some reason it seems much harder to score though.
