  1. fpb you are crazy but we are all glad to have you back <3 <3
  2. This is a great idea nice work slapshot!!!
  3. Grit comes from a lack of natural ability / skill. He says Americans are more gritty. It's the same in the 94 world. Canadians are known for their sexy 94 playing style, while Americans are crappier so we can call them gritty CANADA
  4. took me like an hour to get that god you're too witty
  5. has fpb ever not had a top 3 player on his team? lol
  6. Just playin, I'm very glad to see you back
  7. why not get a new controller? for pc there's like 50000 options
  8. This is very neat. Makes me interested in messing around with some 95 Good fking job
  9. Well you know seth is extremely anal about stupid stuff. He's always so afraid of being "cold" for the playoffs. One of the few guys who has more excuses than plabax lol
  10. Really though nhl 94 is totally perfect the way it is. These ideas are awesome, but a lot of them could mess up the amazing balance that this game has. The real dream would be the gameplay being untouched, with a bunch of these great non gameplay-related ideas being implemented. NHL 94 on modern consoles or PC with an online option, what a world that would be
  11. - Allow lefties to spinorama/turn like righties can - Get rid of momentum, or at least make it so that it's fair and understandable. For example, more checks or more shots or more goals = more momentum MOMENTUM IS THE REAL MYSTERY THAT I TRULY WISH COULD BE SOLVED IN THIS GAME. It's so random from game to game, and it's definitely not just to do with hot/cold - Remove the hook button, it's dumb lol - Allow you to aim your dump ins. Which direction you're holding doesn't seem to matter when you dump it in with C or A if you aren't in the offensive zone. - Disable onetimer auto-aim. Onetimers are cool as hell as they are, but they are pretty ridiculous, almost too ridiculous. If you could (and had to) manually aim your onetimers, that would be so cool - Make injuring players not a penalty. I know you can make it a 0 second penalty or whatever with hacks, but you still need to watch the cutscene of them going to the box which is lame. - Allow you to choose how hard you pass based on how long you hold B - Make faceoffs not random! Have it actually timing based would be the easiest. Even better would be some sort of rock paper scissors + timing minigame involving the A B and C buttons. - Add quit game option to the pause menu. Also allow you to choose home/away before the game, like the nasty snes version. If both of these were added then you would only have to host once when playing online! And it would make resigning games actually kind of realistic (would be so nice). I'm gonna think of more, the possibilities are endless
  12. The people were just trying to be nice and help you out. You didn't have to chew them out repeatedly just cuz they misunderstood. Also I think you owe lupz an apology. Getting mad at someone for using a timeout when they have a lead is pretty damn douchebaggy lol. He's one of the nicest guys in the community
  13. Congratulations EA, you have now realized how crappy C checks are
  14. I never liked Benoit. I liked Booker until he turned into King Booker, I stopped watching not too long after that. Angle kidnapping Sharmell was some good s**t
  15. I loved Kurt Angle back when I watched wrestling. My favs were him, Orton, and JBL
  16. I like AJ man. Of course I have a little bit of Seth bias, but I respect AJ as a competitor and for all his efforts on this site throughout the years. He just seems awfully smug in all his posts in this thread, and it seems kinda fishy. Talk about anti-AJ stuff Brutus, you came out of left field in this thread on day 1 being as anti-fking-seth as possible lol. WE WANT ANSWERS, RESPOND TO THIS THREAD SETH AND AJ
  17. Seth argued and discussed for 10 minutes with AJ and got nowhere. It's the first time that Seth has ever asked for a goal back so it was quite obviously some massive cheesy lag. If I legitimately felt like the goal was fake and was asking for a goal, and got denied in cold blood after 10 minutes of arguing, then I wouldn't wanna accept the offer either. Like plabax said, it's more about the principle of the matter after you've argued for 10 whole minutes. Yes asking Raph was a mistake, but whatever. Nothing in the play before seemed to predict a Seth win? Seth was down 2-1 in the series, tied 5-5 late in game 4. That's anybody's freaking series. You pointed out the matchup, but it seems to me more the opposite. Of course AJ doesn't wanna lose to Quebec, so maybe that played a role in why he fought so hard to keep such a controversial goal.
  18. I've never tried a 2nd attempt after a a non whistle loose puck on a penalty shot, but I agree with you here. I'd never get mad at somebody for trying it, it's perfectly fair. People who get mad at 2nd attempt penalty shots should take off their bow ties. I am weird though, like I definitely believe in sportsmanship and fairness, but to me goalie lock is an understood glitch that is perfectly avoidable. You shouldn't have to dump it out after your opponent gets goalie locked. You get like a community guilt trip if you don't dump it, but screw that noise. As Zalex once said, don't go ape with your goalie and you won't get goalie locked.
