OR 1 - NYI (angryjay93) vs 8 - NYR (BoKnowsNHL94) Season Series: NYI 3-1 Predictions: NYI 4-2 Comments: The Islanders regular season wins were all lopsided and they may have trouble containing Mogilny and Klima but Belfour will come through in the end. 2 - EDM (Icestorm NHL94) vs 7 - NJ (PerennialChoker) Season Series: Tied 2-2 Predictions: EDM 4-3 Comments: Edmonton's balanced scoring attack is too much for Lemieux and the Devils. It won't be quick but Edmonton gets out of the first round with a win. OR 2 - EDM (Icestorm NHL94) vs 7 - CHI (Zalex1414) Season Series: EDM 3-1 Prediction: EDM 4-2 Comments: Edmonton is just too strong for a weaker offensive Chicago team that we are used to seeing. Chicago might get two wins but will not be able to take the series. 3 - FLA (canadiensfan66) vs - 6 BUF (swos94) Season Series: BUF 3-1 Prediction: FLA 4-3 Comments: Florida's Blitz playoff experience shows as they fly through Buffalo with a high flying attack. Terreri makes a few more key saves than Hextall as the difference in the series. 4 - PHI (snoboarder3211) vs 5 - MTL (freydey32) Season Series: PHI 3-1 Prediction: PHI 4-3 Comments: Usually reserved for a Finals matchup we are treated to a first round slug fest. The Flyers have picked up momentum as the season comes to a close as the most physical team in the league is able to stop the Habs high flying offense. Dcicon sure has some guts prediciting both I and carse get knocked out in the 1st. I think that qualifies as an OMGA! moment if it happens.
