OK. LOOKING to finish in one month, so season would end Monday on June 8th. Here are the rules: 18 teams, ONE big blob*, no separate divisions/conferences, etc. 4 games vs each opponent, totaling 68 games. 2 home/ 2 away. 3 min periods, 3 min OT, ties will happen. Playoffs, top 10 make it with 2 play in series. #7 vs #10, #8 vs #9, winners play #1 & #2 seed, respectively. NO RE-SEEDING once the playoffs start. Will be run true tourney style, best of 7 series. REASON for this is so we don't have to wait for EACH series of each round to play next series. IF there is strong participation on all coaches, I will likely also run a B tourn…

So, only vote if you've had time to EXI w/ the Rom and have played some games w/ 3 min periods. It has plenty of pros & cons. One major pro is you can knock out a bunch of games quickly. One major con is sometimes it can feel TOO quick. Given that, stats will be harder to come by, which can be both a PRO & CON. In addition, I am doing a second poll to decide on settings for the playoffs as well. My thought now is let's vote on 3 options. IF YOU HAVEN'T EXI'd the ROM, hurry & do so, and then come vote.

Raph has graciously setup the google doc for us. To simplify my life, I'm running the league under Et Tu Brute. It will not follow previous Et Tu Brute league formats, other than be a draft league. I'm going to be hosting another one of my draft leagues. HOWEVER, currently, it doesn't have a start date yet, because a few guys, myself included, are currently struggling hosting games. Following up on a post by Trojan, I think we can all work to add some extra flair to summer league. I'm thinking Sunday night, some time between 8-10 pm central, having a game of the week, where one or 2 games are streamed with commentary by guys like AJ/Ice/Trojan arranged as well. Pretty sure if I stream the game and say AJ/Trojan are in a party mode setup where their stream is linked, they can stream the game with commentary. I think leading up the game while it's getting setup, could discuss current league standings/stats &&& NHL94 stuff coming up, etc, like a 5-10 minute lead in at most. Ok, we have 18 coaches, 9 A & 9 B. The season will last 2 months, probably from June 1st through July 31st. This will be in the middle of summer, and some of the coaches will be around A LOT and some will not hardly be around AT ALL. Previous summer leagues BOMBED as a result of such a drastic range in coach's availability, to the point where some guys stopped signing up for leagues in the summer.
