Evan
Hey with the original ROM I would definitely take out Brind Amour and Lindros for Eklund, and either Dineen or Lomakin when line changes are off. -Evan
RedWingDevil
Probably because they're too damn heavy. TruePensFan may fix that, but it'll take a while.
TruePensFan1981
Probably because they're too damn heavy.TruePensFan may fix that, but it'll take a while. Damn right, I'm going to fix it! I don't want to promise a specific date just yet, but it is weeks away from being finished. You guys are going to love it, and it will be much better than the original '94. There is a catch with mine, however. The rosters will be a tad different. My rosters will be accurate as of the beginning of the 1993-94 NHL season; therefore, players acquired via trades will still be on their original teams from that season. In other words, Marty McSorley will be a Penguin, rather than a King. Alexei Kasatonov will be a Mighty Duck, rather than a St. Louis Blue. It's been an on-again/off-again project; however, it will be finished this summer. I hope you all enjoy it upon its release.

IceStorm70
along those same lines, I'd put Neal Broten up there too. I think Gagner starts at LW. Don't forget about Dallas Drake too.

RedWingDevil
Lids is so good I don't even consider him a bench dude......Reichel.....is just retarded Lidstrom's a starter. No way he's on the bench, nevermind that he's a godsent in the classic game. For d-men, Yves Racine can help a big deal. So does Alexei Gusarov. Ron Francis is underrated as a forward and he could do a world of good, Jimmy Carson is pretty good too and don't forget Andrei Kovalenko. No Nelson Emerson??? Emerson is really good? I know he's speedy enough, but I'm sure you can elucidate better. For other good bench forwards, you could use Valeri Zelepukin and Paul Yseabert. Use your head, he's a bench player cause the team is stacked with superstars, i wouldnt remove federov yzerman or ciccarelli for yseabert Edited July 21, 2009 by Freydey

smozoma
These stats give a decent idea of who the good bench players are: (of course, the position depends a lot upon their linemates) http://mcapewell.servehttp.com/nhl94/playerstats.asp forward scoring leaders: 11: MTL Lebeau (replaces Muller) 25: WPG Davydov (replaces Steen) 29: MTL Savard (replaces Damphousse, I think) 30: TOR Anderson (replaces Andreychuk) 34: HFD Yake (replaces Cassels) 53: EDM Simpson (replaces Weight, moves to wing... would have been higher, but didn't discover him right away) 57: PHI Dineen (replaces Brind'Amour) 58: PHI Eklund (replaces Lindros, moves to wing) 61: N.J Zelepukin (replaces Semak) 65: STL Emerson (replaces Janney) 71: OTT Lamb (replaces Kudelski) 72: S.J Berezan (replaces... some bum) defense scoring leaders: 7: DET Lidstrom (replaces Chiasson) Kovalenko and Kamensky are pretty good, too. And Makarov and Reichel.
