I'm going to guess that there will be a screening of the documentary at some sort of film (or documentary) festival around this date?

Thanks for posting this, love watching the old video. As for the 'watchability' I would expect that it was probably only recently converted to digital from old tape - so the quality loss is evident. Also, not sure the specs for old TV cameras - but slow motion (and all the clips I watched were slowed down) degrades the video quality even more.

Is there a way to turn on the "like post" function on the new sites. I occassionally tried to give likes on the old site and it would always give me an error. There are a lot of threads/convos that I'd love to just give a thumbs up rather than making a new post. ..and I'm already missing the 'New Content" button from the old site.

Does Windows recognise the controller? If you go to 'Devices and Printers', is it there? If it doesn't, try another USB port - or it may be a driver issue. If it does, right-click on it and select 'Game Controller Settings', where you can test all of the inputs. In GENS, you sometimes have to use the analog sticks for directional input vs. the d-pad which will often not give you diagonal movement. Hope this helps.

When I first started in GDL and Blitz, I spent a lot of time trying to find a way to rank players. I also worked with weight by flipping it (subtracting from 12) in order to make the lower weight guys more valuable in the formulas. I also looked at relative speed, or perhaps better stated as acceleration. I've been told that the speed stat relates to 'top-speed', so weight and agility will affect acceleration which becomes more of an issue the heavier a player gets. Great read, and welcome.

OFFSIDES already screws up the flow of the game.

Couldn't you just use NOSE and turn all penalties to 0 mins? So you still run it as Offsides/Penalties ON, but you wouldn't have penalties.

Today I learned that I'm actually in the GDL record books for something other than being on the wrong side of a blowout (which I'm also in the GDL record book for.)

If not, let me just say that it was an incredible display of Sega/Genesis mastery. On the Sega-side, the most probable finals outcome played out with @kingraph and @angryjay93 meeting in the final game, with Jay pulling out a 5-3 win with Detroit over Raph's Buffalo squad. On the Super Nintendo bracket, we again witnessed to ascension of relative unknown (at least to NHL94.com community). @Jammer - KO94IIsnes was able to punch his ticket to the finals versus @Bob Kudelski and win it all with an incredible 4-3 OT victory.
